part 2: Tragedy

THE BIG IDEA
This week our kiddos learned the second part of the Kids Story Circle—Tragedy: The Story Of The Fall. The Core Truth they learn in this part of the Story Circle is “Sin Broke Me.” 
READ ALOUD 
  • Jesus Storybook Bible Ch. 3: The Terrible Lie (pg. 28)
    • Part of the Lesson was to have the kiddos create a picture of an apple to help them understand that Adam and Eve chose to trust themselves and did not trust God.
  • Kid's Story Circle - Part 2: Tragedy
    • You can use a set of Story Circle Cards or access them on the App or HERE
REPEAT THE CORE TRUTH 
This week our kiddos repeated the Core Truth aloud as well as they used American Sign Language. You can follow the link below to learn and repeat the core truth with your kiddo!
PRAY TOGETHER
Spend time in prayer with your kiddo asking for forgiveness for the sins that you and your kiddo have done. Be specific in praying for things that have happened throughout the day (disobeying, hitting siblings, etc). Ask God to help you and them to love God and to follow Him.
  • Take advantage of key moments of the day with your Kiddo (meals, drive time, bath time, bed time) to say short repetitive prayers with them. Invite them to join you in praying or even saying “AMEN!”
