gathering times

We are just a ragtag group of moms, dads, school teachers, factory workers, kids, grandparents, students, artists, engineers, and more; who believe in a God who has forgiven us all, and will one day completely restore his beautiful world - make all the wrong things right again - crazy we know, but this is our hope and our faith.

So each Sunday we gather from all walks of life and all parts of the city. We meet online and onsite and dress the same way we dress the rest of the week. In other words, we’re probably a lot like you. We also love seeing new faces.

Hope to see you this week!

WHAT TO EXPECT

What should I expect when I arrive?

When you arrive at Base Camp we hope that you feel like you are being welcomed into a friend's home.  So grab some coffee and treats at our café space and feel free to ask anyone around for help. Whether it is one of our volunteers with a lanyard on or the person grabbing coffee next to you we would love to help show you around. There is a Kid's check-in towards the back if you would like to drop your kids off during worship, but know that you are more than welcome to keep your kiddos with you as well. If you need help finding something specific, or want to find out more about Red Door come see us at our Welcome Desk in the Atrium just inside the main doors to the building.

What is our Gathering time like?

Every week we retell the story of Jesus to recenter our lives on what matters most. This includes worshiping God through our songs, hearing the words of Scripture preached, and responding in prayer and communion. Friendly volunteers will be available to help you find your way around and assist with any questions you may have.

I heard you have deaf interpretation.

Yes! American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation is available at our 11:00AM Gathering every Sunday for our Deaf/HH friends and family. If you would like to know more about this or participate with our Deaf Connections Team you can join our Facebook Group. Want to get ahold of our team? The video phone number is: 513-655-4047.  This is for anyone who is deaf and may want to ask a question or send in a prayer request. You can also find out more details on their page by clicking "Learn More."

What do my kids do during the Gathering time?

We love families around here! We have small group environments available for any kiddos Newborn-1st Grade. You can bring your kiddos to our Red Door Kids area where they can check-in with our secure check-in system and meet their small group leaders and have a lot of fun with other kids their age learning about God's Story! We also have KidStuf Small Groups for kids in 2nd-5th Grade that happen during the teaching portion of our Gathering. So your kids can engage in worship and prayer with you as a family and then you will be prompted to take them to meet their small group leaders just outside the auditorium right before the teaching begins. They will get to meet other kids their age and do some awesome interactive activities that translate the entire teaching into "kid."

We also support parents who choose to keep their kids in the Gathering with them or those who attend our Gathering. At the back of the auditorium we have several different activities kids can do during the Gathering (coloring books, play-doh, Legos, etc.) that will help them have busy hands and open ears.

We love having kids in the Gathering with us, but this means it sometimes gets a little... noisy. But isn't that what it means to be a part of a family? We want Sunday morning to be a time for family interaction, and not time for a show. We understand that interruptions are a part of life so don’t feel like you must leave the service or keep your children completely quiet. Check out our FAMILY PAGE to learn more.
