Kidlife 

Our KidLife Group for Grades 2-5 is the place during the Sunday morning Gathering where our kids get a teaching time that is just for them. Use the guide below to continue the conversation!

This week's Big idea is MOVE UP SUNDAY! We will have new friends joining us who will be going into the 2nd grade in the Fall. We will also be saying goodbye to our friends who are going into 6th Grade in the Fall (Because they are moving up to Student Group!) This week, since we are growing, we will also start splitting off into boys and girls groups. The boys will meet in the Loft, and the Girls will meet up in the staff office area. 

This week, the kids talked about Mark 4:35-41 - One evening, Jesus and his disciples were in a boat, and a big storm came. The disciples were scared, but Jesus was asleep. They came to Jesus and asked Him for help, and He told the wind and the waves to "Be Quiet and Be Still."

• Are there any areas of your life where you would like Jesus to help you?
• What areas do you need to have some stillness in your life? 
• Have you ever asked Jesus for help before, like the disciples did?
  
  

Spend some time in prayer with your kid, thanking God that He is a big God who can calm the storms of our lives. Thank Him that He is with us in the storms of life and that He never leaves us nor forsakes us. Thank Him that we can ask Him for help when we feel like we are in the middle of a storm, and share anywhere, where you feel like you need Jesus to help you in your life today!
